SAVE THE NATION PRIDE
Many fellow Indians have migrated overseas and have made this nation proud. To name some we are blessed to have fellow Indians like Sunita Williams, KalpanaChawla, SundarPichai and SatyaNadella. On 26th January 1950, India was declared as a peace loving, secular and tolerant country. However many fellow Indians have forgotten our values of peace, harmony, love and integrity and have defamed our nation. Remember, humans have the tendency to smear and generalise. When a person commits a heinous crime overseas, his nationality and cultural values are blamed. The localities feel that person coming from this particular country will show only such kind of behaviour and hence is to be boycotted. There are incidences of Indians not attending the college lectures regularly or simply vanishing away after he/she have reached the country and not attending the college at all. When some product or service is served complimentary, some fellow Indians have also been caught, misusing them. Some have been trailed under the court for drunken driving and eve teasing as well. We must understand that the freedom a new nation gives us should be used to exercise self-discipline and decorum without anybody preaching them to us. Living overseas teaches you simple life hacks that help you becoming more independent and self-sufficient. If we train ourselves towards that goal it is for our own wellbeing. Our culture has always taught us values of humility, forgiveness and unity. Please exercise them and show this world that we are the most diverse, beautiful and peace-loving race of humanity.
