1) Decide, Discuss and Proceed.

Have a very clear thought before proceeding. To begin with select a course and look up on the net for the best Universities across the globe that cater the course of your liking. Analyse your financial and academic status. Have a discussion with your parents, mentors or spouse about the idea of shifting overseas. Also, contact people from your circles who have migrated abroad for some purpose for a more personalized opinion.

2)Let the best be your guide.

Take help from the institutes that have a good experience and reputation in the field. Never approach a company without a proper research and analysis. Select a consultant that has more number of successful visa approvals. Most consultancies conduct coaching for the examinations that are very essential for migration. Make sure the institute has good trainers and faculties as less scores even in a single aspect can close your doors.

3) Practise, Read, Repeat.

There are a huge number of papers available on the net for the particular examination that you might be giving. Devote some hours to self-assessment and revision. They would add up to the finesse and serve as sure shot ways to an easier approval.

4) Look up for financial aids.

Studying and living in abroad can be quite expensive. Not every sponsor can afford the costs. There are many financial aids available in India that help the bright and promising students to study abroad with low or no costs. Seek those places and people that can help you with such scholarships and incentives.

5) Research Adequately.

There are many horror stories of people that have paid lakhs of rupees to fake universities. Prefer more known and reputed universities that have good testimonials. Also if you are applying for internships or jobs, research about the company and make sure that it is secure.

6) Converse and Impress.

The visa interview is the most delicate part of the entire process. Even a single inappropriate answer will let down all your hard work. Have enough rounds of dummy interviews with your mentor. Surf on Google for some more help. Make sure you are honest and truthful in the interview. Be in your best looks to give a good impression that lasts longer.

7)Don’t be an impulsive packer.

When you over pack for a semester abroad it may seem harmless but when you pack once again to return home, it would seem really painful. Choose one suitcase, one carry-on size bag and a backpack. That amount of luggage will hold sufficient for a full semester abroad. You could carry the back pack over your shoulders when you travel around and explore the wonders a new city has held for you. Over packing is much more than just a hassle to lug around. If you remain an impulsive packer you might have to buy another suitcase for the exotic things you collect in your semester abroad.
